Six years ago today, on Tuesday August 9th, 
We learned what the purest form of unconditional love is. 
We felt what real joy was like 
and for the first time in our lives we knew exactly what it felt like to have our hearts outside of our bodies. 
Our lives have changed so much every year, but one thing that never will is how deeply we love and miss our Cooper. 
While our hearts are still very broken, today on his birthday, we are able to smile through tears as we remember that Tuesday morning when we first laid eyes on our precious son. 
It’s hard to believe he would have been six today.
