We had Grammy come over and have a sewing day with AB and Emma during Spring Break, to get their entries ready for the fair this year. We’d hoped to fit in another sewing camp like last year, for our 4H club, but we just couldn’t make it work this year.
We took the girls to pick out their fabric. They did some other shopping, too. Ha.
This year, we decided on aprons for the girls. AB chose a full tie-back apron and Emma chose a short-waist one.
It took the girls a couple hours and cutting, pinning and sewing. They always do a great job and I think we’re ready to move into something a little more difficult next year! We’ll be breaking out the simple skirt again next year, though, for Maybree to start her sewing run!
The aprons turned out great and we’re going to add some props for the girls to use when they model them at the fair.
