One of AB’s favorite things to do is go to the park.
We’ve been going quite a lot since we’ve been “homebound.”
We went for the first time when Maybree was a month old.
We got a pizza to go (from Blue Highway) :) and ate at the park. It was perfect because we were the only ones there! Since it was a little cool that day, I stayed in the truck with Mamie while Daddy let Big Sister play.
Since having a new baby that we didn’t want to take out in public, limited our weekend activity options, the next Saturday we decided to hit the Blue Highway and park again! We packed some snacks
and since it was warm, even Mamie got to get out! Just like the time before, we were the ONLY ones at the park. It was perfect! Annabelle got to run and play and we didn’t have to worry about anyone else’s germs! :)
Two weekends ago, we tried it again…this time my parents went with us…and would you believe our perfect un-inhabited park was slap full! Yep, there was a birthday party, a family reunion and what appeared to be a motorcycle rally. We only stayed a few minutes that day. We had to leave before DW lost his cool and pinched (or worse) some of the wild kids that were running crazy. :)
I am sure, like our cold weather, our days of having the park all to ourselves is long gone. But it was fun while it lasted.
And at least now Maybree is EIGHT weeks old (TODAY) and we’ve finally started venturing out this past week! :)

Hey Annie. AB has such a cute smile. I love the pic of her on the swing looking up. Precious. Your park looks like a nice one. I was so glad when they upgraded the one here in Trenton a couple of years ago. Although Tori is 10, she still loves to go when we slow down long enough.
So much fun!!!!!! lucky, lucky, girls. it is a blessing to watch. God is good.
LOVE that pic with DW holding Maybree and AB wrapped around his legs. So sweet!
Such cute pictures! I love that AB looks surprised in most of the pics and I have to agree with the beauty shop girls, Maybree looks just like you :)
These pics are SO GOOD! It's nice that y'all had the park to yourselves a couple of times...I understand wanting to keep Maybree away from germs. :)
