I consider myself a pretty lucky girl.
Lucky to have a husband who picks me flowers from the road ditch and brings me my favorite Easter candy on a Friday afternoon…
Lucky to have in-laws I love like crazy. Lucky that one of them is a little sister, who happens to have her Sr. Prom coming up soon! We took a little trip south to Tampa to shop for THE dress this past weekend.
AB enjoyed a Chick-fil-A and park date with her Daddy & her Pappy, while Mamie spent the day being loved on by Grammy & Pop! Lucky girls. We big girls spent the day oohing-and-ahhing over dresses and drooling over our dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. You wouldn’t believe that the dress Kelsey decided on happened to be the very first one she tried on that day! How lucky is that? That never happens! It was meant to be. I can’t share pictures of THE Dress, though…(until after Prom, of course) but trust me, it’s beautiful…and after prom and I loose all my baby weight, I might beg Kelsey to let me try it on. :) It was such a fun day spent with three of my favorite “big” girls.
The little girls and I got Lucky and got invited to a St. Patrick’s Day party for our mom’s group today.
It was the perfect day for a party in the park!
AB was most excited about the snack we took. I saw a recipe on pinterest for a pop corn cake, so I made ours with regular (rainbow colored) M&Ms, and named it “Pot of Gold Popcorn” complete with a little pot of gold in the center. :) AB didn’t see me putting it in the car this morning and on the way to the party, said, “Oh no! We forgot ours gold, Mommy!” :)
