AB was so excited about her Pre-K class’ first field trip.
The highlight was getting to ride on the school bus for the first time and getting to take her lunch box (since she comes home everyday before lunch, this was also a first!)
The field trip was to Homosassa Springs State Park. 
Because pretty much every kid in AB’s class had a parent attend with them, we didn’t have any other kids to supervise. We toured the park with AB’s bestie, Emma and her Mom. 
The kids got to see lots of Florida wildlife, as well as “Lou,” the resident Hippo at the park. 
We walked around the different exhibits, sat in on the animal encounter show (where we got to see a baby Florida panther), and then met the class under the pavilion for a picnic style lunch. 
After lunch; we took the boat ride, hit the gift shop and called it a day. 
It was a fun day with my number one Pre-K girl.
