The weekend...

Some days just start out all wrong.

Saturday happened to be one of them.

By 11:30 that morning I had already cussed at my brother-in-law, had a little spat with DW and showed my not-so-nice side to the lady at the Walgreen's drive-thru. Yep, all before noon.

I could blame it on my tender heart, raging post-pregnancy hormones, and the fact that I had to wait 35 minutes in the drive-thru to pick up a prescription, but the fact is that I was wrong.

I felt terrible and apologized and thankfully the day improved. :)

When DW got home from the gator (basketball) game, we decided to go over to Blue Highway. It's hard to have a bad evening when my favorite pizza with peppadews is involved.

Sunday morning came quickly, and we were running around like crazy trying to get out the door on time with two precious little girls, one of which was making her debut at church! DSC_2740

It was a great service ending with communion. It felt so good to be back at church after being "home bound" for 8 weeks! :)  Maybree did great. She was awake when we went in so everyone got to see her cute self with her eyes open and then she slept through the entire service.

Sunday was a sweet reminder of the truth found in Lamentations...that God's mercies ARE indeed new every morning. Since I was batting a thousand on Saturday I was especially thankful for a new day on Sunday! :)

I know when we act "ugly" it is wrong...but it makes me feel normal to hear I'm not the only one who shows her ugly side from time to time. ;) Thankful for HIS mercies which are new EVERY morning!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who suffers from those "ugly" moments. Bet everyone was loving little Miss Maybree.
